are detailed below. |

| Please
note that translators who wish to work from home must have a PC with a CD drive
and MS Office installed in it and also an internet connection. |
|
| There
are no registration or any other type of charges that applicants need to pay either
for empanelment as a translator or for other job categories. |
|
|
Categories TR01 to TR10: Translators - All Indian and foreign languages |
|
TR1:
Hindi/Gujarati/Marathi to English. TR2: Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam,
Bengali, Punjabi to English TR3: Assamese, Bhojpuri, Konkani, Oriya,
Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tulu, Rajasthani, Urdu and other Indian regional languages/dialects
to English |

| Type
of translations needed: Mostly non technical/semi-technical* audio/video content
to written matter in MS Word. |
|
| Candidates
applying for the Category Nos. 01 to 03 should have impeccable command over English
with computer proficiency and knowledge of computer typing in MS Word. |

|
| |
TR4: English/Hindi
to Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali and Punjabi TR5: English/Hindi
to Hindi/Gujarati/Marathi TR6: English/Hindi to Assamese, Bhojpuri,
Konkani, Oriya, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tulu, Rajasthani, Urdu and other Indian regional
languages/dialects. |

| Type
of translation needed: Mostly non technical/semi-technical* written matter
to written matter in MS Word. |
|
| Candidates
applying for Category Nos. 04 to 06 should have excellent command over the respective
regional language they are applying for, along with a good understanding of English/Hindi.
Such candidates should clearly mention in their resumes whether they can translate
from English to their respective language in handwritten format or can they also
type the same on a PC. Those candidates who can type these languages on a PC in
TTF fonts like Kruti or in software applications like Shreelipi, Baraha etc. may
also submit at least 100-150 words typed by them along with the font files and/or
reference of the software applications used by them for the same purpose. Candidates
who can directly type in MS Word in TTF fonts/WIN XP language option will be given
preference. Those who do not know computer typing in the respective languages
but are willing to train and learn may also specify the same. |

TR7:
English to Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, French, German, Malay, Spanish, Sinhalese,
Indonesian, Nepalese. TR8: English to Arabic, Persian, Urdu TR9:
English to Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Hebrew, Swedish, Korean, Thai and other
international languages. |

| Candidates
who wish to apply for Category 07 to 09 should not only have excellent command
over the respective language but should also be proficient in typing the same
in MS Word. |

of translation needed: Mostly non technical audio/video content to written
matter in MS Word. |
|
| Candidates
who wish to apply for Category 10 should be proficient in any of the international
languages and should be able to understand the nuances of their respective language
in a manner a native person would understand. Deep knowledge of colloquial and
proverbial form of the language is an absolute must. Candidate should also have
good command over English. Candidates who can speak fluently in their respective
languages may also apply for voice over artistes. |

should have a minimum speed of 40 wpm for English and 20 wpm for Indian languages.

are needed to operate our custom-built software packages. |
